Wide Eyes Falconry and Kids Club

Does your child have a love for birds? Let the Wide Eyes Falconry taken them under their wing.

The Wide Eyes Falconry Kids Club was set up in 2015 is run by owner and enthusiast Luke and his team of volunteers. Luke has been involved in Falconry for over 20 years, as both a job and a hobby.

The aim of the children’s club is to pass on knowledge to children who have a passion for all things falconry with a hope that they will also develop a passion and keep this ancient sport going. It was also designed to give kids something completely different to do. Designed to get them outside away from the TVs and games consoles.

The club meet every Saturday and with most of the members attending every week. All new members are welcome and the cost of this is £10 per child per week and this gets you a one hour session with us.

As part of the club, children won’t only learn to fly birds of prey, they will also be learning how to identify birds, how to make equipment, continuing to learn knowledge and practical skills. Along side this earning badges, which they can gain at there own speed.

Not only will the children gain a huge rewarding experience, we hope that the club will help with confidence and ultimately provide the children with oodles of fun.

The club is run in Smarden and the times vary depending on age. For more information please make direct contact with the charity.
