Willesborough Athletic Football Club

With their home at the Caldecott Foundation near Ashford, Willesborough AFC are now looking for new members to join their team!


The Willesborough Athletic Football Club was originally formed in 2013 and were elected as members of the Ashford & District Football League in time for the 2013/14 season.

In only the clubs second season ‘The Millers’ scooped five major trophies, including the Kent Junior Cup as well as the Ashford & District League title, League Cup, Ashford Charity Trophy and Canterbury Charity Cup.

In 2014 a Sunday team was accepted into the Ashford Sunday Football League, winning a historic treble of the Division Two title, League Cup and Sheber Trophy in their début season, the first time this had ever been achieved in the leagues 55 year history.

In 2015 two reserve teams were formed, while the Saturday Firsts were promoted to the Kent County Football League, part of the National League system. Two youth teams were formed, at both under-15 and under-13 levels, and both were accepted as members of the Ashford & District Youth League.

The club continues to grow at a progressive rate with big ambitions, and already has added a new under-11 team to its family ahead of the 2016/17 season.
