What I really like is that you can get the exact cut of meat you want; I often wander in with one of my cookbooks and Mark is more than happy to butcher the meat to my requirements. It goes without saying that the quality of the meat is excellent.
Woodchurch is lucky to have its own traditional butchers and farm shop.
Owned by Mark Carley who also runs a small livestock farm in Woodchurch the meat is traditionally farmed, hung and displayed.
The shop also sells local free-range eggs, milk, cheese and a good selection of fresh vegetables.
There really is little need to drive to a supermarket!
