• A well restored example of this iconic performance classic, with just three owners from new. It is powered by a rebuilt 128bhp 3.0-litre ‘Essex’ V6 engine, driving the rear wheels via a four-speed manual gearbox. A previous owner had the Capri renovated, featuring refreshed bodywork finished in new paint, along with comprehensively overhauled mechanicals.
• First registered in May 1980, it has had only three owners, one of whom acquired it as a partially completed restoration project.
• As part of the restoration, the bodywork was refurbished and remains in very good condition, with no signs of previous accident damage. All exterior trim has either been renewed or carefully restored. The engine bay presents well, having been fully detailed.
• The interior is believed to be entirely original, retaining a charming light patina with no visible damage. There are no known electrical or mechanical issues.
• The Capri left the factory finished in the striking shade of Venetian Red, complemented by its original ‘Carla Check’ interior upholstery and iconic ‘fishnet’ Recaro seats.
• While MOT-exempt due to its age, the car last underwent an MOT on 20th December 2014 at 82,122 miles, where it passed on the first attempt with no advisories.
