• Innovative and iconic, the model is a 496cc water-cooled v-twin with a 5-speed transmission. Its radical styling was ahead of its time and it is well-known for its reliability.
• Featuring 4 valves per cylinder and 50 bhp, this bike comes with shaft drive, eliminating the need for chain adjustments. It also boasts dual front disc brakes, updated brake pipery, and Comstar wheels.
• Though the motorcycle was in good running condition, its paintwork was flat. A decision was made to embark on a full restoration project, including a respray of all bodywork and the fuel tank. The forks were completely overhauled with new seals, and the carburetors were refurbished. A new radiator was also installed.
• Numerous hard-to-find parts were sourced and added, including a Motad 2-into-1 exhaust system. Additionally, parts for the original 2-into-2 exhaust were purchased and are included in the sale, along with many spare parts.
• Due to recent health issues, the owner is reluctantly selling this classic motorcycle, presenting an excellent opportunity for a simple restoration project on this increasingly rare gem.
