- The vehicle was purchased as a bare shell by the previous owner and fully rebuilt from the ground up. Over £25,000 was invested into the build, which included the removal and repair of all chassis and subframe rust. A 72,000-mile engine was sourced and subsequently rebuilt. Supporting documentation includes over £8,000 in receipts - this figure does not include the cost of the vehicle, the engine, rust repair, or major components such as:
- Full Sti interior and clocks,
- Alcantara headlin,
- Bumpers and OZ whels,
- Period-correct retrofitted stereo system with amplifiers and subwoofers.
- The car has been meticulously assembled using high-quality components throughout. Notable performance upgrades include a Pink Stuff clutch, Sti bushes, an Arashi turbo, stainless headers, and various other enhancements. It currently runs a "Slow Boi" map and was previously dyno tested at 382bhp (printout not available).
- The car has been in storage for the past three years and is currently without MOT. It would now benefit from recommissioning and would greatly benefit from a 6-speed gearbox conversion to fully realise its performance potential.
