Bereavement sale, in current ownership since 1984. Five previous keepers. The first time this Pagoda has been on the market in nearly 42 years. The car has been subject to in excess of £70,000 of expenditure since 2018, including a full repaint, restoration and mechanical overhaul. Invoices and bills are filed in a comprehensive ring binder with the original handbook and service booklet. There is a handwritten red book noting every service carried out between 1968 and 1979 using the stickers from the service booklet. There are then invoices receipts throughout the 80s - 1983-90 and old MOT certificates from 1983, 84 and 85.

 Full Description:

 Registered on 4th February 1997 (registration P326 YAE), this Mercedes-Benz E36 AMG is a rare performance saloon and an important model in the history of AMG. Produced in very limited numbers, the E36 AMG was built at a time when AMG was just becoming fully integrated into Mercedes-Benz, and today examples are increasingly sought after by collectors.

 This example is finished in Brilliant Silver with an Alpaca Grey leather interior and is powered by the 3.6-litre straight-six engine producing 280bhp, paired with automatic transmission. The car rides on AMG alloy wheels and is equipped with an electric sunroof, electric/heated/memory front seats, electric windows and mirrors, cruise control, and icecold climate control. It is supplied with two keys.

 The odometer currently reads just 86,500 miles, a modest figure for the model and consistent with careful single ownership. Indeed, this car was registered new to a lady keeper in 1997 and has remained in her care since. The original purchase invoice is on file, showing a total of £61,774.42, together with a supplementary invoice for additional factory supplied extras including overmats, Blaupunkt Pasadena head unit, CD changer, and Tracker system, totalling £1,421.37.

 Backing this exceptional provenance is an extensive service history: the service book carries 13 Mercedes-Benz dealer stamps and 1 Mercedes-Benz specialist stamp, supported by a file of detailed dealer invoices. In April 2017, a significant oil leak from the head gasket was rectified, with an itemised invoice totalling £3,119.78, underlining the level of care and investment this car has received

 The car is accompanied by its complete owner’s wallet with handbooks and the original data specification card. MOT is valid until 3rd June 2026.

 The bodywork is in very presentable condition, though showing signs of age in places, while the AMG alloy wheels remain in very good order commensurate with the car’s age. The interior is also in very good condition, and everything functions as it should: radio, climate control, and remote locking. The car also benefits from a recently replaced indicator/light stalk. On the road, it drives very well, with excellent power delivery from the AMG-tuned straight-six and a smooth automatic gearbox.

 Presented today as a single-registered-keeper car with documented provenance, extensive main dealer history, desirable mileage, and strong originality, this E36 AMG is an authentic and highly collectable example. Bridging the gap between the classic straight-six AMGs and the later V8-powered cars, it represents an increasingly significant era of AMG engineering

 Full Description:

 Registered on 21st January 2000 (registration V893 DLU), this Mercedes-Benz CLK 55 AMG represents the flagship performance variant of the first-generation CLK. Developed by AMG, it combines discreet coupe styling with formidable performance from the hand-assembled 5.5-litre V8, producing 355bhp and delivering 0–60mph in just 5.4 seconds. Power is managed by a 5-speed automatic gearbox with AMG Quickshift, giving a sharper, more responsive driving experience. Official fuel figures quote 16.5mpg (city), 33mpg (highway), and 24mpg (combined).

 Finished in Brilliant Silver with a black Nappa leather interior, this CLK 55 AMG is exceptionally well specified. Features include an electric glass sunroof, xenon headlights with washers, auto-dimming interior and exterior mirrors, folding rear seats for added practicality, folding electric mirrors, heated electric front seats with memory and lumbar support, electric rear sunblind, cruise control, and a £2,500 COMAND system incorporating radio, CD, satellite navigation, and TV functions. It also includes the integrated factory phone system (requiring an appropriate SIM card).

 The odometer currently reads 132,400 miles (expected to rise slightly with use), and the car performs beautifully with instant throttle response and eager acceleration. Around 1,000 miles have been added in the current ownership, demonstrating both reliability and enjoyment.

 This example comes with its complete build specification sheet and an exceptional service and repair history file. The documentation is meticulously organised by owners and years of ownership, including detailed invoices from new. Two service books are present, enabling continued records to be maintained. Recent maintenance includes an oil and filter change along with new rocker cover gaskets.

 Ownership history is well-documented: the first keeper retained the car until 2003, covering just over 20,000 miles. The second and third owners kept it between March 2003 and February 2006, followed by the fourth from November 2007 to 2014, and the fifth from July 2015 onwards. In total, the car has had five owners from new.

 The bodywork has been attended to over the years and still presents well, though it does now show some deterioration in the usual CLK areas. Values in recent sales suggest this example could realistically achieve between £5,250 and £8,000 at auction.
