A definition of ‘Sold as Seen’ for lots sold at our Marine Auctions.
We want you to be happy with any lot you buy from our Marine Auctions so please read these notes carefully.
The 1979 Sale of Goods Act does not apply to lots being sold in our Marine Auctions.
Lots that are offered Sold as Seen are being sold without any guarantees whatsoever.
We recommend potential buyers come and view the lots in person.
Hobbs Parker Car Auctions LLP have no knowledge of, nor can make reference to the mechanical condition of any lot. This does not imply that there is a problem with the lot. Often lots are offered Sold as Seen because of their age or at the specific request of the seller.
However, you should be aware that if you purchase a lot that is Sold as Seen then the vehicle may not be rejected or returned under any circumstances and no complaints or claims will be considered.
