Forthcoming Livestock Sales
The next weekly sale is Tuesday 8th September and will include Prime Stock, Cull Stock, Store & Breeding Cattle and Store & Finished Pigs.
Entries now being invited.
Cattle entries include:
- 28 Simmental cross steers & heifers, 12-18 mths – H/B, S/S – TB Edge.
- 24 Charolais cross, Hereford cross & Aberdeen Angus cross steers, 18-20 mths – H/B, S/S, FABBL – TB Low.
- 22 Simmental cross, British Blue cross & Aberdeen Agus cross steers, 14 mths- reg’ sire – TB Edge.
- 18 Lincoln Red steers, 30 mths – H/B, S/S – TB Low.
- 11 Simmental cross & Hereford steers & heifers, 6 & 16-17 mths – TB Edge.
- 10 Aberdeen Angus x Friesian steers, 12 mths – TB Low.
Ear Tags
Please be aware of your responsibilities with regard to the tagging of sheep of all ages, and in all sections of the market.
Producers are reminded that all cattle require two ear tags with at least one large distance readable tag. Please inspect stock in good time to order replacement tags as, regrettably, any stock that are incorrectly tagged can not be offered for sale. Local authority inspectors will be taking note as stock comes to market.
