Having moved to Kent at a young age, I have grown up with a strong connection to the county and its communities. After completing my undergraduate degree at the University of Lincoln, I chose to return home because I value the sense of place, familiarity and belonging that Kent has always given me.
I began my planning career at a Kent-based Local Planning Authority, where I spent two and a half years gaining hands‑on experience across Planning Enforcement, Development Management and Validation, with additional exposure to Planning Policy and Strategic Sites. Alongside this work, I completed my MSc in Town and Country Planning, supporting my progression toward RTPI accreditation.
I am looking forward to continuing to build on my experience and develop my professional skills across a wide range of projects. I particularly enjoy the variety and challenge that planning offers, and I am keen to continue developing my skills as I take on new projects and responsibilities.
Outside of work, I enjoy staying active and spending time outdoors, with interests including swimming, rugby and baking.
