New Avaya systems have been installed by the company into Estuary View Medical Centre and Kent International Airport (KIA) at Manston.

Estuary View is one of a new breed of ‘super surgeries’ which opened recently in Whitstable and is an innovative, integrated healthcare facility offering many services usually associated with hospital outpatient and diagnostic departments.

Hobbs Parker Telecom signal the future as Britain’s first racecourse hotel installs its own private mobile network.

It has to be a sure bet. Arena Leisure, owners of seven racecourses nationwide, have undertaken a unique partnership with Marriott Hotels at Lingfield Park Racecourse to open the country’s first-ever hotel, conference centre, golf, spa, leisure and racecourse venue. Doors open for business in May 2010.

As you can imagine from such a high-end partnership, the Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club looks set to be a glittering and highly successful enterprise. The mission statement for their guests is ‘At Your Service’ and in order to fulfil this ambition, Arena Leisure and Marriott have contracted a Kent based company, Hobbs Parker Telecom, to fit the resort with the ultimate telecommunications package.

Scrappage Scheme comes to an end - Car Auctions continue to thrive.

We all know someone who has traded in their battered old banger under the government’s scrappage scheme and is now driving around in a shiny new car, happy at the thought of ‘saving’ £2,000.

According to government reports, the scheme has been a huge success, pumping nearly £400 million into the beleaguered car industry and removing over 370,000 fume-polluting cars from the environment.

But the scheme has had other affects too, not least in the second-hand car market.  Suddenly there’s a real shortage of quality used cars and a dearth of the old run-arounds that were perfect for newly qualified and first-time drivers.
