The church of St Mary's has Norman features including a window believed to be the oldest complete window in England and Norman Brasses. Brabourne Primary School regularly comes near the top in Kent's Primary School League and Brabourne also has a good children's nursery. There is a regular bus service into Ashford should you wish to go shopping in the town. Orpins Store stays open all hours while Clarkes the butchers is one of the few remaining traditional butchers shops left. There are three friendly pubs and The Five Bells at East Brabourne is well known for its delicious food. The Tiger Inn at nearby Stowting is also famous for its friendly atmosphere and excellent food.


Brabourne Lees

Brabourne shares many of its organisations with Smeeth including Scouts, Guides, Gardeners Society, Historical Society, the Wednesday Club and a Football Club. The well supported Footpath Society regularly explores the North Downs under which Brabourne nestles.
