To secure planning permission for a warehouse/headquarters building required to enable the business to relocate and expand.
SuperCups Vending needed to relocate from their constrained site in Kennington to enable the company to operate more efficiently and expand. Having purchased a site at Moat Way and appointed Cole Construct to design and build the premises they faced problems with objections to their planning application.
Details including siting and layout relative to adjoining land and buildings, landscape impact in the context of the setting of a nearby Ancient Monument.
Hobbs Parker advised Cole Construct on strategy and revisions to the planning permission, negotiated with the planning officer and provided written support addressing the key planning issues.
The revised details were accepted by the planning officer at Ashford Borough Council. The anticipated delay and uncertainty associated with a planning committee decision was avoided and planning permission was secured under delegated powers. The building is now constructed.
